Sorry for the lack of updates of late on the website. It’s been crazy busy in the shop and out of the shop.
We are all over the UK at the moment either doing call outs or delivering Nexus and other equipment.
We have also been installing Nexus quite a bit in the last month or so, with over 10 Nexus 320’s going out in the last 4 weeks.
As you all know we are big fans of Nexus, and I want to take this opportunity to give them some more praise.
We have imported a lot of Koi already this year (October 2017 – March 2018) I would imagine well over 150 boxes. All these Koi have passed through our Quarantine facility (Which is separate from the retail facility) and we have 8000 gallons split into 4 ponds. We run a Nexus 320 on each pond.
Again, even with the amount of Koi passing through each system they have performed perfectly. The day after introducing the Koi we saw a small spike in the Nitrite and then the day after it was gone. No Ammonia readings at all. This is why we have so much confidence in these units, we do not have to worry about them, or the water.
We still have plenty of stock in the shop, however we have just sold so any Koi this year there are not many larger Koi to add to the website. We will be trying to get some smaller stuff on there ASAP, it’s just finding the time at the moment. We will get some on though, we have some amazing small Koi to add to the Koi for sale pages.
We have our first exhibition coming up, well Koitrips.com do. We will not be taking any Koi or dry goods to the show. It will be a Koitrips stand which will be information only. If you have ever thought of visiting Japan to buy Koi then pop down to the BKKS National Koi Show on the 23rdand 24thof June, at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre close to Coventry. Our very good friend Masaru Saito will be flying in along with his son Kensuke for the show, so if you have any questions please come and say hello.
